Bring online guests into your gallery spaces with our realistic, high quality photographic panoramas they can view and navigate, rather than computer-generated simulated virtual spaces.
Users may already be familiar with Google Street View, which is a similar format.
The panorama image loads into the user's browser window so they can look around in the space by dragging their mouse or by swiping their touchscreen, to pan and in some cases also to tilt up and down.
Three buttons appear below center for zooming in ( + ) zooming out ( – ) and auto rotation (different speeds can be preset). A scroll wheel or pinching a touchscreen can also zoom.
Subtle ICONS mark HOTSPOT locations linked to art works or other information. A rollover text LABEL identifies it as 'PAINTING' / 'SCULPTURE' / 'INTERVIEW' / 'INFORMATION' or the name of an artwork.
Clicking an icon brings a POP-UP frame with the background dimmed. Inside the frame, we can embed an IMAGE (and optional text) to feature the work. Alternately, we can embed a VIDEO or AUDIO clip, or we can display a TEXT BOX.
We can professionally photograph the artwork or embed your existing photos in the Pop-ups. We can shoot video, such as an interview of the artist. We could add motion effects to still images such as zooming in or Ken Burns Effect to show detail in a painting.
A 'close' button returns to the panorama, or else clicking near any edge does this.
Hotspots on the floor mark other panorama NODES which can be clicked to go to that location, if these are included in the Virtual Tour.
We will make demos with added features in the near future.
